Broadcasting: From Multi-channel Sound to HDTV |
Following the success of DVD and Internet streaming, radio and TV stations
are already actively looking for a new profile. Surround sound for
radio applications is only one of the subjects under discussion, others
include; the vast variety of audio formats and recent developments
in the HDTV field. The content too, changes and demands new technology,
such as the use of wireless cameras, or Surround Sound recordings in
live-transmissions.
For our second seminar, we asked top internationally renowned specialists
such as Gerhard Stoll (IRT), Frank Fell-Bosenbeck (ZDF), Martin Wöhr
(BR), Jürgen Marchlewitz (WDR), Florian Camerer (ORF), Peter Arasin
(Sennheiser) and many others to speak about these topics.
There will also be presentations of reports about cutting-edge productions
and discussion of 'off the beaten track' technical solutions.
Two workshops will allow delegates to gather first-hand experience with the new
digital live console AURUS and DELEC's new digital intercom system.
This seminar is intended for technical staff and planning engineers from broadcasting
stations who deal with sound reproduction but are also interested in picture
applications. Sound experts from related fields are also welcome! es and other
